Way to go with swimming all week, students!  We also want to say a huge thank you to all of the parents who were able to volunteer! Upcoming Dates: Student Led Conferences - March 21-22 (Sign up will come out in the next little while) Our Week: Swimming!! After returning from swimming each day the students were quite tired so our inquiry work with wheels and axles and levers was a good way to keep students engaged!  Students have been designing, building and testing their devices.   Math: While we continue to develop our multiplication and division skills, we took some time to create analog clocks and discuss time as well. Social Studies: We are continuing to read, "Ticket To Curlew" which is a novel about a family who moved to Alberta and settled the land over 100 years ago.  We are learning about the land, tools, housing and life on the prairies long ago.
