We made our own place value chart to practice reading and writing 4 and 5 digit numbers as well as represent numbers in four different ways. These include, standard form, written form, Base Ten form and expanded form.  



Not only have we been writing personal narratives, we have also been working to make our writing even stronger by using 'juicy' words. 
What other words can you think of for the word 'eat?'




When you think of Alberta, what kind of landforms come to mind? During a class discussion, we questioned whether a glacier counts as a landform? We discovered that yes indeed, a glacier is in fact a landform along with many other interesting facts about these hudge masses of ice!
