November 6-8

We want to thank our students so much for their amazing work for our Remembrance Day Assembly.  And thank you to all of our guests for joining us today!  It was an amazing, thoughtful performance and their music and words filled our hearts with joy!  We also owe a big thanks to Mrs. Coulson for helping out so much with everything!

Huge Thanks to Terese (Ava's Mom) for volunteering and organizing the Veteran's Food Bank and Poppy donations!  




Tate shared some of his Great Grandparents' Uniforms and Mike was sharing information about them!  Thanks for bringing them in for us!


Postcards for Peace will be delivered to veterans today.  Thanks to Mrs. Turner for organizing this for us.



Robotics Club started today!



Math- We started to review regrouping using base 10 blocks.  For example, 13 ones is regrouped to 1 ten 3 ones.  If we have 23 tens we have 230.  You can practice this at home too as it helps when we do multi digit addition and subtraction!

Inquiry - We have really looked closely at the water cycle and began creating definitions for each of the stages. See if your learner can name all of the stages.

Literacy - This week we completed our descriptive monster writing.  

P.E. - We have begun soccer and are dong drills and skills before playing games.

June 27 - Final Week of School

Day 1 of Coulee School (June 3)

Today's journey to the coulee was my favourite because I felt so much more calm and relaxed because you all were so calm and relaxed.  I loved sitting silently eating, asking questions, sketching, and I wondered, where are all of the nests?
