This past week, we applied some of our gymnastics skills and did mission impossible! 



While we investigate simple machines we have also looked at Alberta in the past and the technology at the time.  We came to learn that the means of transportation slowly changed over time. Did you know that horses are not native to Alberta?  How do you think hoses came to Alberta? 

Part of our Valentine's Day celebration was spent surveying our classmates about their favorite chocolate bars. We used tally marks and created a bar graph to record our data. We then used our bar graph to inform us about what chocolate bar is most popular or least popular.  We could also tell how many more or less students liked a certain chocolate bar.

Day 1 of Coulee School (June 3)

Today's journey to the coulee was my favourite because I felt so much more calm and relaxed because you all were so calm and relaxed.  I loved sitting silently eating, asking questions, sketching, and I wondered, where are all of the nests?
