Thank you for all of your donations of cardboard egg cartons and old T-shirts.  Once we have enough of these for each learner we, will start using these materials for some upcycled art, and environmentally friendly gardening. 


Since our return from spring break, we have been engaged in many hands-on activities.

Daily Reading Groups



Some of our learners were inspired by a book they read during our weekly reading groups to further investigate the history of toilet paper.  They worked together to prepare a presentation to share their findings. 






During Ignite we have been questioning how human activity can lead to the production of wastes, while also identifying responsible ways to use and dispose of different materials.




Welcoming spring by planting some microgreens!

June 27 - Final Week of School

Day 1 of Coulee School (June 3)

Today's journey to the coulee was my favourite because I felt so much more calm and relaxed because you all were so calm and relaxed.  I loved sitting silently eating, asking questions, sketching, and I wondered, where are all of the nests?
