Math:
Grade 4 students continue learning about decimals and how they relate to fractions. They are going up to tenths and hundredths.
Grade 3 students are reviewing multiplication/division facts, working on data/graphing. Keep practicing math facts at home!
Literacy:
This week the students have continued working on their non-fiction reading. Each of them has chosen a non-fiction book and are currently reading their book to determine the main idea and supporting details. We look forward to sharing our learning by creating a nonfiction mobile using the coat hangers we all brought to school.
Inquiry:
As part of our Coulee School next week, students decided it would be a great idea to create personalized guides for other students who spend time in the coulees. As a class, we brainstormed the many things that make the coulee unique and all of the things to do and see there.
Physical Education:
Now that the weather is improving, we have been going outside and practicing throwing, and catching frisbees.
